Terms and conditions

“CornerQuiz” is a web game operated by Clasmus GmbH: a daily football quiz based on real matches, plus special quizzes, leaderboard, leagues and pools. It is an entertainment product.

We verify the questions against sources considered reliable and work to keep the data correct. Some content may be prepared or assisted with automated tools and is reviewed before publishing. Even so, errors may exist; we appreciate a heads-up at info@cornerquiz.com.

No sign-up is required to play. Use is personal and non-commercial. You may not manipulate the game, leaderboard, leagues or pools (bots, multi-accounting, exploiting bugs), overload or breach the service, or use offensive, illegal or infringing nicknames or content.

We reserve the right to change, hide or remove nicknames that are offensive, misleading or that impersonate others or infringe rights, and to suspend access for serious or repeated breaches.

Rankings, leagues and pools are purely recreational and have no economic or redeemable value. They carry no cash prize, no prize in kind with economic value, and no betting of any kind: they are a way to compete and compare results between users.

The premium pass (“Tournament Pass”) is a one-time purchase (not a subscription and it does not auto-renew). It gives access to: (a) ad-free browsing; (b) access to previous days' quizzes; (c) the hard difficulty mode, until the date stated at purchase [planned: 31/08/2026]. The exact list of benefits may be adjusted before the Pass goes on sale.

The sale is made by Paddle as the legal seller (Merchant of Record): it issues the invoice and handles applicable taxes. Prices are shown with their currency conversion and, where applicable, taxes.

The pass is digital content with immediate access. For EU consumers, by requesting immediate access and expressly accepting the loss of the 14-day right of withdrawal, that right ends once performance begins (Directive 2011/83/EU, art. 16). This acceptance is captured in Paddle's checkout.

If something doesn't work as it should, write to info@cornerquiz.com and we'll fix it. Refunds are handled by Paddle under its policy.

CornerQuiz's content and code belong to Clasmus GmbH or its licensors. Personal use is allowed; commercial redistribution and reproducing the question bank without authorisation are not.

We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability: outages may occur due to maintenance, updates or causes beyond our reasonable control.

The service is provided “as is”, to the extent permitted by law. Our total liability to you is limited, where applicable, to the amount you paid for the premium pass in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing excludes our liability for intent or gross negligence, nor the mandatory consumer rights of your country.

Swiss law and the courts of Zurich apply, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer rights of your country of residence and the option to go to the courts of your domicile where the law allows.
